Ambush tires tread

I have a set if ambush tires and was wanting to cut every other row off. Do you guys do it yourself and if so what do you use to cut it or do y'all have them sent off?

I think Tyler uses a sawzall and a wood blade to cut his.

Why the hell do you wanna trim your tires ?

If you're planning to use them for anything other than straight line racing you're wasting your time.

 

Once you cut them, all of the side to side grip is going to be gone. They're not any good for trails once you cut them.

 

That said, I use a sawzall with a course wood blade. Then I go back with a box knife and trim any excess.

 

Also, Ambush are 4 ply and are very thin.. I cut through the tire on the first one I did. You have to be really careful.
