sheerider11 Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 I just got mine on the bike I haven't riden it yet. But just already I can tell its 1000x more comfortable. I had to dremel a little inside the throttle to knock down the stop. But it is just all around better. I had a stock, extended, lighter springs, it never helped. I think it's just the location. So anyone that has thought about doing it, just go for it. I paid 15 shipped for a 400ex throttle housing. Quote
sheerider11 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Report Posted December 22, 2013 And I shaved off that Honda logo Quote
dave5.0 Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 Bette than an aftermarket one you think? Like a moose? Quote
sheerider11 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Report Posted December 22, 2013 Bette than an aftermarket one you think? Like a moose? All I have to go by is what I have done with a stock. And like I said, way easier. I know 110% that this will help me since I broke my wrist. Quote
Surfrjag Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 Shitya i have had mine for a while and anytime i let someone take it out they coment on how smooth it is. Quote
ATVridinMaNiAc Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 Thinking about doing this, so the stock throttle cable works fine also? all you had to do was dremel the stop down? and Is that a banshee thumb lever or 400ex thumb lever? thanks. Quote
sheerider11 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Report Posted December 22, 2013 It's all Honda stuff Over on the left side is what I cut out Quote
ATVridinMaNiAc Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 Ah alright cool, simple enough Quote
sheerider11 Posted December 22, 2013 Author Report Posted December 22, 2013 Ah alright cool, simple enoughYup. Just double check it opens your carbs all the way. I have 35 pwk and it opens them all the way. Quote
Coupelx Posted December 22, 2013 Report Posted December 22, 2013 most important is to mill the fuckin honda logo off the top. i used one from a 450r. no mods needed to open 34pjs. Quote
sprinklerman Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Anyone tried it with 39mm pwk yet? Quote
dave5.0 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Anyone tried it with 39mm pwk yet? What he said Quote
Burke Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 couple that 400EX throttle with a lever from a TRX90 and you have the ultimate thumb throttle for comfort Quote
Man-O-Steele Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Running one too. I don't think its a matter of being easier to push. I think its the location. Seems a lot more comfortable. Quote
