WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 Tell me everything about these shocks, stage one Works triple rate shocks, have an opportunity to buy them for $200 wondering if it's worth the money and what the difference between them and stock is Well stock is crap and about as functional as a Honda 300EX shock. WORKS are a massive upgrade from stock and will transform almost any machine into a completely different animal. They aren't as nice a higher quality brand like My ELKA's, but I have a set of Dual Rate WORKS on my general purpose Banshee and for the money they are a dream. If the shocks aren't blown out and you can get them for $200…..Grab that shit up! Quote
tdod101 Posted December 14, 2013 Author Report Posted December 14, 2013 Sweet, okay I probably will, I'm assuming they'll bolt right in to my 87 with J arms ? I don't have to cut or weld anything ? Quote

Nope, they will bolt right up. Only issue will be what weight they were set-up for. if your 200 pounds and the shocks are set-up for 160….they will feel pretty soft. But MOST of the shocks out there are set-up for the heavier range. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 The difference is amazing. Good shocks should be the first thing done. Quote
