FMF Gold series?

Recommended Posts

So this is my first shee, and it came to me with FMF Golds. Thoughts on these pipes? I have never had others to compare to, and none of my friends have banshees. I know a guy that is a Toomey dealer, and he said they are crap. He aslo said that the T6's will add 45 HP to a stock bike. Truth to this?

Good pipes. Toomeys T-5's would  rev a little higher and gain 2-3 peak HP….but they give away too much bottom end to be worth it. I'd stick with the FMF's over the T6 pipes for your basic bolt-on bikes.

Finally. Someone who does not bad mouth my pipes. They make my bike scoot.. I don't want a 100 hp bike. Well let me rephrase that. I dont NEED a 100 hp bike, but i do want one. haha. THanks guys.

Lol that's what I was thinking. Who the hell would be a dealer, bad mouth their own product, then use some outrageous hp predictions to try and make the sale.

Anyhow everyone's already given u great advice. Ride it, get comfortable. Then start changing the setup when you are wanting more hp
