The oil smelled cooked but that's from the old clutch where I didn't really get all the old oil out. The fiber look Gd. But you can see the outside edge a lil wore

Take a look at the pressure plate where the frictions contact.

You might try switching to a slingshot or possibly changing out the pressure plate.

Well I am trying to under stand why just the outside edge is like that and not the whole plate. And then the most inner plate looks new.

Could be the frictions or could be the way your lockup is pushing on the pressure plate.
