DBR06Banshee10 Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 I contacted mull and they are about 4 weeks out on impellers so i probably wait if not im going to do chariot but i do need to figure out which antifreeze to run because i am going to get a oversized radiator and its alumiumn Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 I prefer 50/50, that way you don't have to worry if your water has crap in it. Quote
DBR06Banshee10 Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 What if i use distilled water? Quote
Coupelx Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 I run about 70/30. What zilla said about antifreeze is true. Im not convinced overheating is due to any sort of design flaw. Plugged radiator or one thats beat to shit comes to mind as more likely along with jetting. Quote

I took mine off once and flushed the outside with A/C coil cleaner and water and couldn't believe what came out. Quote
DBR06Banshee10 Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 Im still going to get the over sized rad cant go wrong with that Quote
DBR06Banshee10 Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 What kind of rad u brought? And what kind of impeller? Quote
Zillaguy Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 You should always run an antifreeze and water mix... If you're going to run straight water, it needs some kind of lubricant in it, like Water Wetter or some other kind of additive... Other wise it could damage seals.. Water is a great coolant, but a terrible lubricant... Quote
