Are paddle tires worth the $ for dunes?

for a cheap set of tires, get on amazon and look for ams sidewinder v-paddles.  they are a decent paddle, not too heavy and are usually pretty cheap.  i got a set of 10 paddle v-paddle tires for my wifes bike for like $26 each.  those are being made anymore though.

I just got fronts last yr. not a huge diff really.... I've been running haulers, but gonna go back to my sand gears. Unless racing they are all better than knobbies on rear, especially for climbing.
