Calderon Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 My bike starts on the first kick every time but I just took off my stock reeds and put V2 reeds on. Now it won't start. Do I need to put bigger pilot jets. It's bore out to 66 mm with pro head and 19 domes. FMF pipes and silencers. K@n air filter without lid. Main jets are 320 and stock pilot jets Quote
toytech Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 were the petals new? mine started hard with the old petals in the v2s. do a leak down test to make sure the reed gaskets are sealing. you might go up one size on the pilot jet with your mods. Quote

toytech Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 make sure the gaskets are sealing the reeds good. I use permatex spray copper coat on mine. or when you were moving the carbs around the pilots got plugged. changing reeds should have not changed it that much. Quote
