I think I shit the bed on this one. Had fresh black powder and redone it to add some color but didn't come out how I wanted. Leave it be or redo it to match the wifes bike. IMG_20130716_124450_942_zps9bdd3a87.jpg

that rim looks more orangey to me too, maybe the OP`s cam is showing the frame to be brighter than it is..looks quite vibrant in the pics really, nicer colour than the rim (on my screen)

The pic with the two bare frames is a better representation of color seen by eye in sunlight. While being OK in sunlight it is a totally different color when looking at it from my garage lighting at night. If I was naming the powder it would be burnt red or maybe old fuckin tractor. Looks real old skool like before they were capable of making the real pretty colors lol

OK then, re-do it now. Truth be told I'm not happy with mine either. It's a very vibrant color on the side of a car, but with only small tubing showing it's WAY darker than I expected. I keep telling myself it will be fine, but, it will get re-done this winter. my 2cents.
