turbowrenchhead Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 I'm pulling the clutch cover when my water pump seals come in. Then I can inspect part of the motor. Maybe I'll get lucky and the problem will be under the cover. Quote
turbowrenchhead Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 I pulled the clutch cover today to replace the waterpump seals just to cover my bases. The billet waterpump gear is chewed up. This accounts for the excess metal in the oil. The teeth on the inside have damage to them. The damage only extends 1/16" of an inch into the gear. Whats the fix? Go back to the stock plastic? Quote

WOW......better figure out what's going on because the plastic gear sure isn't going to hold up better than the billet. Quote

What is the primary ratio? I'm running all stock gears in the engine. I've changed the clutch housing, water pump gear and drive to billet. Quote

According to the oem fiche I should have it all assembled right. The crank bearings are new. Quote
