revs high when first started

got a prob and cant seem to figure it out hoping someone can help me  when i first start my banshee it revs real high  i have checked the cables  everything is in the right place  adjusted the air screw 1-1/2  out  the choke tube is right   i have just replaced all the gaskets and everthing so i dont think there is a air leak  if i pull the choke half out once it is running  it idles  normal  after i run it awhile and shut it off   then start it again it doesnt do it  but it also wont stay running  at a idle then

just because you replaced all the gaskets doesn't mean there isn't an air leak. 

 

I had to rebuild my motor this past winter and had a tough time getting the reed gaskets to seal up.....and that was using new gaskets. I wound up calling my builder and asking if he ever had problems and what his choice method of fixing it was.......

 

Moral of the story......ALWAYS DO A DAMN LEAKDOWN TEST!!!
