Young Guns Racing Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Hello all, I am building a semi-stock appearing sleeper in my 03 shee and aside from a cool head w/ 22cc domes it is pretty much looking stock. I have a welded and trued crank for the bottom with stock stroke. Cylinders are already ported Stage 3 from sport works by ken o conner racing. Currently running two stock mikuni carbs properly jetted with K&N pods and toomey t-5s. The question I am finding in myself is would a nice set of 36 PWK's, new intakes and v-force reeds bring it to a whole nother level? Or aside from the extra airflow would the stock carbs pretty much be the same feel? I would be riding alot of open fields and sometimes hittin the local dirt drags. Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Um, no. You want to bring it to a whole new level, send it to a real builder. Quote
oldskool Posted June 15, 2013 Report Posted June 15, 2013 Your stock carbs will feed that motor just fine, I would go for boyensen or v force reeds Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted June 15, 2013 Report Posted June 15, 2013 I would send it to a real builder. Quote
robert0762 Posted June 15, 2013 Report Posted June 15, 2013 One stock carb will flow enough for a ken oconner port job Quote
