Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Iv rode 4 Wheelers before but never owned one. I came in to around 30gs so decided to buy one didn't do any research just jumped on craigslist found a banshee looked Cool so I bought it. the guy said its mean but that's what I figured id say if I was selling one so I thought yeah what ever. So he brought it to me.I puted around on it and bought it. 2 friend came and got me and we went riding. First time driving it got to what I thought was top end of 1st gear shifted to 2nd my buddys blew past me so I mashed it I hit powerband scared the sh!t out of me when we got off I was shaking. I got sorta used to after riding all day. I was going home runnin bout 45 for bout 5 miles started acting funny. So I felt the pressures off the pipes the right one wasn't push so I figured I fouled a plug. got some plugs Changed them still wouldn't push air so I called some friends and we tore into the engine. Looked at the piston blew a hole right through the piston. So I learned my lesson now I know. Taking it to get rebuilt tommorw. Quote
Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 Don't ride at one speed for a long period of time. I didn't know anything about 2 Stokes except to mix your gas. I need to learn more. Quote

Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 It wasnt on the clutch side it was on the right side. I'm going to bring it to a dealership to get looked at. I dint know how to adjust anything on it im not new to riding but new to maintaining. Thanks for All the replys Quote
Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 The clutch is on the left. I know that much haha Quote
Deadbeat Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 if you`ve punched a hole in the piston, you got shrapnel floating around in the bottom end now... Quote
Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 I'm going to have it rebuilt so il ask them if they can adjust it so it wont run lean. Would it be a problem to switch the band of oil you mix with your gas? Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 The actual clutch is on the right, the clutch lever is on the left, (that don't count) Quote
Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 Alright I just figured the lever is what they were talking about. Quote
Dane Edg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Report Posted June 13, 2013 I would upload a picture of the bike but the pictures I have are to large. Quote
