Stumped and need help

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I had a post while back about my banshee pushing coolant out of the overflow.

It started out I replaced the stock impeller cause fins were broke off and got a Billit one ever sense then it's been pushing coolant out of overflow but it ain't overheating.

I've replaced cap put new radiator in aint smoking white at all like its burning It and runs strong. Now is there any gasket that could have went to hell from putting new water impeller in?

Or have it in backwards I'm stumped and wanna get it figured out and ride thanks

if your filling the radiator completely up there is a tendency for them to push out the first inch or so of coolant from the radiator.  I usually fill the radiator up and then fire the bike and let it run for a bit....let it cool, then pull the radiator cap off to see if it puked the first tad of coolant out.

My banshee has a chariot cool head, I was driving this weekend and it started heating up to around 250F it usually runs at 150, when I got back I checked the rad and it was half empty.. When I filled it up and gave it a kick water shot out ov the rad about 3feet . Checked compression one was 15 below normal.. When I you'll it apart there was no damage or cracks in the cylinders or head .. I fig it was my orings but they looked fine.. No peices missing..and nothing looks warped??
