jumpman23 Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Hey everyone wasup! I just recently joined because of the help you can receive and ideas from other people owning banshee's. This is a great site for getting ideas...and that brings me to this question. What other mods can you do to your banshee for a reasonable price other than pipes and intake to increase power? There's so much to choose from and since I don't know probably how to install and work on the harder stuff...so what can an average joe like myself work on to help out my banshee? Any ideas??? Quote
H300F Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 cool head or get the stock one reworked. then your next best bet would be porting, but you will need to have someone who knows what they are doing to do this. Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Port it. There is a gain that is way more than all the other little stuff you can do by porting the cylinders. Dont get caught up in this boost bottle, degree key, reeds stuff. Just port it and if that is not fast enough then add a head, timming plate, reeds, ignition. Quote
SICK BOY Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Boonman does some mods cheap like shift star, head milling, and flywheel lighting. He did my shift star and my flywheel, and did a great job.Best of all he did the work with a one day turn around. Quote
jumpman23 Posted October 31, 2003 Author Report Posted October 31, 2003 Thanks guys! I'll keep that in mind and I'll probably get my buddy to help me port it and install a cool head. Quote
