BeeCanBanshee Posted May 30, 2013 Author Report Posted May 30, 2013 I wish I could. O was just there for memorial weekend. And I got fam coming into town this weekend. But I hope you guys will go again this summer so I can meet up with everyone. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted May 30, 2013 Author Report Posted May 30, 2013 If the terrain tracks are expensive then I won't get those. I'll look into the pro wedges and the ones loco suggested. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted May 30, 2013 Author Report Posted May 30, 2013 Even in the track conditions I mentioned? The realtors look like they can hook good to. Are they any good? Quote
J-Madd Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I never raced with the Realtors; just trail rode. They are a heavy tire. Those studded ones in the pic look like they have been buffed. Quote

Ya those things are way heavy for trying to race. Buddy bought a set way back in the day. We thought they were cool till we found paddles. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted May 31, 2013 Author Report Posted May 31, 2013 I saw FAST'S ad about the pro wedges being a good dirt race tire. And is there any paddles to stay away from? Quote
dave5.0 Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 I've got some pro wedges and some 4 snows I'd make ya a hell of a deal on;) I personally wouldn't run any kind of paddle if it was any kind of hard pack. Unless maybe the Terrain Tracks would work. Never ran those. Those prices that LILWEINER posted earlier seemed pretty good. Quote
J-Madd Posted May 31, 2013 Report Posted May 31, 2013 PWs and 4 snows FTW. They hook hard on shallow tracks for sure. I gotta buddy that runs them on everything. Gravel roads, paved roads, they hold up well. If you put them on a 9" wide wheel they're a little better but wont grow as much. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted May 31, 2013 Author Report Posted May 31, 2013 Sweet I think I'm going to try one of those 2 sets out. And when my current tires go I'm gonna pick up a set of tires from fast. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Ok so I got some 4snos coming in. I want to know thoughts on gearing. I have a plus 4 swinger,4snos, CPI Oof pipes, cool head stock carbs with pods, hd clutch,vf2, hjr hot dune port I weigh 280ish right now my gearing is at 13/41 should I try stock or 15/41? Like I said previously last time I was there I was in ported with lrd pipes and running 12/41 on dirt tires I spun all the way down the track. Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Unported not in ported Quote
Surfrjag Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 Gear so you can launch 2nd gear. Probobly around stock gearing 14-41 with thos 22" tires Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Is like to launch in 1st unless second is better. If so ill do 2nd and stick gears and see how it works. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Second gear launch 15-41 gearing... If spinning real bad still throw more gear at it Quote
BeeCanBanshee Posted September 5, 2013 Author Report Posted September 5, 2013 Ok well I have to order some sprockets I guess a 15 and 16? That would give me 12-16. But I tell you what a 12 on the front and doing a roll on is intense haha. Quote
