+4 swinger on 4mil

Just finished my 4mil lr w/tz build stock cyls 4mil dune port by cascade t3s pwk28s vf4s 22cc domes cut for 180 comp dyna cdi. I bought it with a +6 no gussets chincy swinger and broke the right tube next to carrier so I bought a beefy +4 box frame swinger with shit tons of reinforcements I'm sure 10 pounds heavier but I jump a lot. Anyways shortyly after I got it I decided to do the 4mil. Having gotten to ride it yet I'm getting antsy and a little nervous I'm wondering if its going to be 2 wheels in the sky all day with a +4 and my mods. Anybody have a similar set up with +4 swinger in dunes?

I was on a similar setup with a +2. I liked that quite a bit. Guess it just depends how much hill climbing you do and dragging. How aggressive of a paddle are you running? I had Vito's pipes(shearers) and 35mm carbs on it then. Was pretty fun.

I have a similar set up 35 carbs CPI and a plus 2 with some paddles. I FUCKING LOVE IT. I can fly through the whoops with the front end just floating. It still handles like a stock bike

22x11 10. Douglas doonz v paddle. I do a lot of steep hill shots jumping and just playing around dragging with my buddies. Hoping it won't be sketchy on steep hill shots.

Tree shots actually, they can get pretty sketch like widow maker at winchester bay. Hoping I'll have a good amount of tire spin Havant tried the tires yet either

You'll be fine, if you get something like haulers then you'll be on the gas tank a lot more.

Those are an 8 paddle right? I was running some worn 10 paddle hauler extremes on my +2. Those tires you have prob don't hook as hard. I'd think you'll get some spin out of em. If it was my bike I'd shorten it. I've thought about paddling down my ported cub and putting a shorter arm back on it just for fun.

I just moved to the area. Tree shots is one of the main reasons I haven't shortened it up yet. Gotta see how it does. Has 11 extremes on it now.

I have a -2 on a race gas 4mm set up and it's fun! That +4 swinger should make for a bit more predictability and keep the front down when you want.

My old 4mil stock cyl. made 71hp. I had a +4 arm and it was perfect for that bike. Decent in the trails and front end would stay planted for the most part

Running t3's on a 4 mil. Invest in some better pipes imo.

As far as your setup goes I like the shorter swinger setup, I had a +6 on my 4mil and switched to a +4 stellar and 10 paddle extremes, I had a lot more fun riding it in the sand.

Small bore in frame cpis are on my list. I'm hoping to do some suspension stuff first though metal tech +2 +1 j arms and yfz 450 shocks.
