I purchased a pair of PWK 28 carbs on here from a member and purchased the sync tool from fast and something is not right with one side and it may have to do with the motor ? one side at idle draws about a 7 and the other side does not draw until I give it some gas, I looked inside at the slides and the one side that is not drawing wants to lift first so when I adjust so they both lift at the same time the side that draws on the sync tool will top out first  and that does not seem right, if I hold my hand over the carb the side that is not drawing will not do anything but the other side will choke out, I am sure the cables are seated correctly and I have not done a leak down test but sounds like I need to do that.

It seems to be firing on both cylinders but the one side that draws smokes more.

Could any of this be do to the idle screws not being in sink ? I had to adjust those when I started it.

If someone with knowledge on this would PM me your # so I could call you that would be awesome.

OK, I got some help, right now I got it fare and it just needs some fine tuning.

I need to mess with the fuel/air screw to see if I need bigger pilots and maybe lower the idle a tad more.

It is taking a few before the motor returns to low idle right now so what would cause that ?

the sync tool is showing 4.5 on the left carb now and 5 on the right carb so I need to fine tune that or is that close enough ?

Also the fuel/air screw at 1.5 turns out it would not start unless I pulled the choke and then when I gave it gas nothing was there, I have them  1 turn out right now and it starts and runs decent but needs some tweaking so what should I tweak ?
