Pump gas 421 opinions

i have a 421 as cast cub short rod, with 24cc 11 degree, just out of the box domes, .38 squish, 150psi, kicking comp +4 timing, v3's with 34mm mikuni carbs with cpi inframes  mixing a lil bit of race fuel, and its a beast at the top end. But there is no low or mid.. Its a dog on the bottom end. when i first got it i loved how explosive it was and loved riding it. Now idk if its me or im just geting lazy but to climb hills i have to clutch the balls out of it when it comes off pipe, really starting to not be so happy with it. But for the street i think it would be fine just blowing through the gears and putting around u should be fine, thats my .02 cents.
