high idle help 1989 banshee

Just replaced my stator and now it idles really high what am I missing

turn idle screws all the way in and cant get the idle to go down

ran great before stator went out all that was changed was the stator

ya try adjusting the air fuel screw too? pretty much only too things that adjust idle unless it developed a air leak

Throttle cable housing pulled out of the top adjuster? from messing with the wiring under the tank. Make sure throttle cable is routed freely.

Make sure the throttle cables are seated all the way down at the top of the carbs.they can get pulled up and snag on the edge of the adjustment screw.

It was really high pulled off the air filter and found one Carb was opened more that the other at idle followed the cables up to where they meet and found one of the cables snagged all fixed
