RadarRacing Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 The slingshot is the best. It will hold even huge HP without much weight and yes it replaces the pressure plate on some models. I would call gogot Performance direct and ask Kevin. Quote
RadarRacing Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Oops I meant Gigot Performance. The slingshot works and releases really well with an easy clutch pull. Quote
RagunCajun Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 What type of lockup would you recommend for a fairly strong trailbike? Vito's undercover. Been running mine for 3+ years on my 4mil till the day she died. Coolest part is no one knows you have it. I run extra weight and 3hd/3stock springs. Quote
ATVridinMaNiAc Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Well i wanna get a lockup cover anyways just because mine is all gashed up and i want to be able to access my clutch alot easier anyways, ill contact gigot when i wanna get one. Quote
RagunCajun Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Then get an aftermarket cover.... Quote
rjdgriff Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 I was under the impression that if you had a stock tranny that a lockup would make it much harder to run through the gears under load??? ??? Quote
RagunCajun Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 I read that many times too. But i have a dune able over ride. No worries here Quote

ATVridinMaNiAc Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Really? so say i have a slingshot lockup then i probably wouldnt be able to speed shift anymore that what your saying? As of now i can hold my bike wide open and fan through gears without letting off and its smooth as butter with a modded star and shift detent bearing. Quote
