my shee with 459 arms advice input?,

Have 02 shee +2 durablue rear n stock front gettin a deal in some 450 arms need advice how to install what else to use with them to make ride decent any problems I may run into or reasins not to use them any advice is appreciated?

Search function would revel poor feed back. 50% get rid of them, they other 50% won't admit it. Just buy arms made for a Banshee.

If you do a simple search, you will see that the 450 arms make the bike wide and low... exactly what you said you don't want.

Yea wanna go little wider but not more than inch lower any advice on arms to fit a low budget??

Alba has good arms for 390$ on eBay

If you do it you have to move the lower shock mount up and in to get the ride hight corrected.

 

I helped my brother do it and now he saving for real arms because it just isn't right. But he had them for two seasons.

 

But it is much better than stock

This gets about 11 frame to ground

New tie rods about 13 9/16 length

He has the yfz450 spindel too

And under the extra dust caps are washers

 

The springs are all the way soft and it's alittle harsh. I would also get 1 inch wheel spacers.

Also move the shock away from a arm when you weld the new tabs.

Again my cheap works shocks and +3 fireball arms are 7.87 times better than the 450 arms.

this will also fuck your caster up and put your ball joints in a bind, did it on a friends and he thinks it's the greatest thing ever he keeps telling me to do it to mine but I want to live...
