Drake Mcgiever Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 I'm looking for a new suspension for trail riding. I do small jumps that get me no higher than 10 ft in the air. I'm 210 pounds. Whats the best suspension for a smooth riding? What is the best a-arms kit too? I've looked at http://www.partsforatvs.com/default.asp?p=632&c=492&cn=A-Arms http://www.partsforatvs.com/default.asp?p=3731&pn=Polaris+Predator+500+Fox+Flat+Airshox+Supsension http://www.partsforatvs.com/default.asp?p=3066&c=1534&cn=M3Q+RAPTOR+700+A-ARMS http://www.partsforatvs.com/default.asp?p=3409&c=1640&cn=M3Q+TRX450R+SUSPENSION http://www.partsforatvs.com/default.asp?p=3559&c=1643&cn=M3Q+YFZ450+SUSPENSION Quote
SpecialEd 05 Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 Laegers Long Travels +2 +1 with a set of nice 17" shocks up front like Fox Float-R's, Elka Stage 3's or some Works triple rates. Then just get the stock rear shock revalved/rebuilt. Quote
trav-99 Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 yep, what he said. laegers and fox's, fox evo's have more adjustability than most people know what to do with. Quote

thomas h. Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 I forgot if roll design uses 18.5 inch shocks but the more shock you have the better. Quote

I believe it doesn't matter however I think the Float-R's (non-rezzi) should have the air sleeve to the top. But those Exo's shown with remote rezzi's should be mounted with the air sleeve to the bottom. Same goes with Float-X's and Evols that have piggyback rezzi's. Quote
