Buffalo-Banshee Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Well during assembly of rebuilding my motor i noticed that the lower case mounting hole where the kick start slides in rounded out and will not completely kick the motor over full due to how sloppy it fits in the case. i heard its not a good idea to miss match a lower from a nother banshee to my non wacked upper case. Is this true? can i try a lower or should i just buy a matching case set? Quote
ClayAiken Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 You want a matching set so ive read. Quote
Juss11 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 The case are bolted together then the bearing holes are bored as a matching set. If you dont have mathcing set you will have problemes. Quote

Jereme6655 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 like stated earlier the cases are bored as a matching set.....we've seen before on here where a guy didn't mention that he had swapped out the lower case only on his motor. If I remember correctly it was on his 3rd rebuild that he mentioned it to us as he was trying to figure out why his first 2 completely destroyed themselves within 2 hours each time. buy a different set of cases.....hell you can get em on here for $100-$150 in the for sale section.
