NYrider631 Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Just wondering how a brand new original rebuilt banshee the first one ever compared to a newly rebuilt rd400 motor. My friend has worked banshee motor and were looking to race obviously I want to beat him. Any ideas or suggestions im willing to put work into either motor. Let me just point out that I already have the rd400. Quote
NYrider631 Posted March 30, 2013 Author Report Posted March 30, 2013 haha I like that! what do you got there? Quote
NYrider631 Posted March 30, 2013 Author Report Posted March 30, 2013 I have j arm banshee and yes both stock motors if that what you mean no mods Quote
04_blu_shee Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 I believe the RD motor will have taller tranny gears, aimed more toward street/hiway speeds Quote
NYrider631 Posted April 1, 2013 Author Report Posted April 1, 2013 Yes I Figured that. I figured it would have less torque as well I was just hoping it would pick up in 3rd gear as it does in first. How do you think the two compare to a 1/8 mile drag.? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 It's not worth even thinking about the rd motor in comparison. Quote
