newbiee to site - banshee will not start? help please :)

just tried this pipe and she LIVES ...but only with the choke out she runs out both cylinders once the choke is in she runs only on the left. could it be a spilt in the air intake boot?

now im confused. i thought i had stock carbs but my crossover tube is different i believe.
