jscharphorn Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 I picked up a set of 28's because I thought they would be a power improvment, my stockers are working nice. and doing some searches I find a thread and some say stick with the stockers. I just ordered a set of V force 4 reeds, I have a billet intake not installed yet, no major mods to engine yet other then pipes and pods. I plan to do the +4 timing real soon and then maybe port , crank, heads next year. Should I just stick with the stockers and sell the 28's or just use them ? Do the 28's use the same throttle cable ? I would rather have low - mid range power then top end speed. I have 13/41 sprockets Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Keep the 28's. They will give you an all around power gain and be able to feed some future mods as well. They will also mean no more tors and they just makes life way easier as far as ease of tunability. Just run them if you already got them. You won't be dissapointed. Quote
