So im deciding to eliminate this shitty TORS BOx that is causing me a headache as well, now i know i have to buy the elimination kit but how do i install the IDLE SCREWS im confused some people say you have to file those air things bla bla bla anyone with an easy solution or can explain this entire procedure to me? i need to install them soo if anyone can help me out by explaining it itll be great ( p.s they come with the drilling things as seen on ebay)

The carb bodies are very soft, very easy to file by hand,and easy to drill and tap. Be sure to stick a piece of wood or something in the carb when you drill so you don't go thru and hit the other side.

Thanks for sending me that link i got the idea but a str8 up question how much did you file down? and baically i have to get the idle scrw all the way in to lift the thingy holding the needle ya?

The ones I've done I had to file down past flat to get the screws on far enough to lift the slides. I usually used a small grinder or a dremel. Then use something like a file to make it as straight as possible.

i guess ill just measure it be4 flat if it didnt lift then ill do it at flat if not ill foil down more, does any one know whether the idle screw should touch the needle or not ( although logically speaking it shouldn't ) i just need to know or see how deep should the ideal screw be itll be great if someone can nap a clear pic!
