Don't bother with the 2-1 on a dune port. If you are spending so much Money with fast, might as well let him do the porting to. Or get your stuff from Kevin if he's doing your cylinders. Usually makes less headache to get it all from one fella. Might even get you a better deal.

 

Also, your list looks good, but make sure to get all those little OEM Clips, fasteners, locking washers, clutch pieces, and misc parts known to fail.

You Won't need straight cuts on that build either. Some tranny work would be nice though.

@trickedcarbine I didn't where to get the cylinders and I heard hjr does good port jobs. What would recommend for the tranny I wasn't planning on touching it but I seen the gears on his page and thought might as well do it since its all gonna be apart

Just a stock cut. No need for an over ride unless you are a drag racer or hill shooter.

No. Once I put a stroker and port work, my bike would not shift. The bike would constantly miss gears. I went through it all. Damn near new everthing. Left the trans stock. Paying for it now in a big way.

I would get a hot rods from Jeff at fast, for a few extra bucks he checks it and does a nicer weld.

camatv does a good stock trans, that will shift.  I went with a duneable overide though, from hjr works great.

I like mine. but you have to becarful not to backload it to much.

backload is when you let off the throttle and use the engine to slow the quad down, or down shift to slow it down, some is ok but not to much.

I don't downshift to slow the bike down I either coast it or use the brakes is that ok with that tranny setup?
