i just rebuilt and cleaned my carbs now it idles high.... it still has the tors. is that the idle screw on the tors? ive tried messing with the screw on the carb its self and its not making it any better. tried from 1 1/2 turns to 2 1/2.   it was set at 2 1/4 when I took them apart

Make sure the slides are in the correct way, in the correct carbs. They will go in backward but not seat completely. Also, did you tweak the adjustment on the carb tops, or are there any cable ends hanging out of the little clasps?

ok the cross over tube came loose put that back on it fixed the idling issues. now it bogs in high rpms besides in first it runs fine in first! damn this is pissing me off it run perfect b4 but it was leaking out the overflow that's the only reason I rebuilt them. atleast that's fixed!

it also wants to idle very low now will die sometimes. ive been messing with the air/fuel screw and its not really doing anything. haven't messed with the screws on the tors yet tho

Feeler gauges at the bottom of the slides and a very good eye. Just set the slides at the right height and open and close the throttle very slowly a few times to make sure they are opening at the same time/rate
