Hey I'm doing a rebuild and I'm getting ready to clean my carbs before install. It's my first time running 2 carbs and I want to make sure my jetting is close enough to break in the motor. They are stock carbs running uni clamp ons. Clean up porting, cool head with 20cc domes, lrd adjustables, +4 timing, 88ft above sea level, and its about 50-60 degrees. And I would also like to know what jetting should be at around 75-95 degrees. Thanks guys. Make sure to include what needle as well .

I had 280 mains with 25 pilots and it ran a very tiny bit rich (should have been at 270). I had a similar setup with T6s though. You need to start on the rich side and work your way down. I hope this helps.

Im at the same elevation with dmc 916s, milled head, open airbox k&n, +4 timing. Right now I run 330 mains, dynojet 6 position needle in 3rd position, 30 pilot. We are at 15-30 degrees and it is spot on. Im going down to 320s when we get up to the 50s, probly 310s and 27.5 pilots when it gets around 75 out. Just a rough idea...

Ok so I got to clean up the carbs and I have 25 pilots and 290 mains. It's around 50 deg. Is this ok for heat cycles? I have a range of jets in the mail so should I just wait or am I ok to run a heat cycle or two through it.

The gas thing is a good question, only splash if you need it and yes I have noticed slight differences in jetting .with a clean up start at 300 my clean ups without modifying port timing run best with that main depending on who did it needle 4th clip 27.5 pilot
