4 mil budget build

Recommended Posts

I currently have a 1999 banshee. All stock except for dg exhaust. I'm wanting to do a 4 mil stock cylinder, but not spend a whole lot of money. I already have vf3's, a proflow airfilter kit, billet impeller and a few other odd and end things on the way. I'm planning to do a hotrods 4 mil long rod crank with the 795 series wiseco pistons. I want to keep it looking stock, so i'm leaning toward getting the stock head milled. I also want to do dmc alien exhaust. I trail ride with a little hillclimbing and friendly racing every now and then. I just have no clue what port job to get. Also, could the billet basket wait? I plan on getting new clutch plates over the summer as soon as I get this build finished, so I thought I would get the new basket then. Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

Honestly, I don't ride the hatfield-mccoy trails. I'll have to get my permit to ride it this year though because they've took over where we go in at. I usually ride windmill gap, sunnyeye, and the stair steps. But I see you're from trinity, NC. I'm from Thomasville. Lol
