bansheefromhell Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 my seal around my shift shaft is leaking, do I need to take the clutch cover off or can I replace it from the outside by the shifter? Quote
Finch Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 ya can do it with just taking the shifter and stator cover off Quote
Starwriter Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Yep, take a small pic or really small sharpened screwdriver and tap it into the face of the seal from the side and then just pry it out. Be careful not to scar the shaft or the case. They come out really easy. Quote

locogato11283 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 No. You may be able to screw a small screw into the seal so you can pull it out. Make sure the bike is tipped up or you'll lose your oil. Quote
