I guess the added size of the motor out weights the cons of the Raptor's weight when comparing it to a yfz450.

 

Nearly $2500 for a 70rwhp raptor is sick. That shall be my first 4 stroke play bike then.

Not sure who is making 70hp for $2500 on a 700. I'm a little north or that, power wise, and there is more than $2500 into it. Maybe if you bought all used parts for real good prices.

In the end, it doesnt matter how much if cost to get a certain amount of power. Get the bike you want and enjoy it. I enjoy seeing 700's beat me. They always get my respect.

Is that a yz250 in the honda 450r video that spanks you? If so, what mods done to it. I have one and my banshee destroys it and it doesnt have near your power. I find that odd.

Ha! I was running knobbies.

 

The vids with me running the banshees was in December and the bike wasn't running great and I wasn't racing as hard. Now the vid of me running those Honda 450s is from Jan and the bike was running great and I was power shifting. Those 450s were pretty damn quick.

I personally have problems beating a 45-50 700/yfz450 when they are lightened and stretched. I can barely walk them but i usually get destroyed out the hole. Good times though!

I might do an override. I'm trying to figure out exactly what build I want. I've got the bike completely torn down and its heading to the PC guy. It'll be a while before it gets put back together though.

I had my ass handed to me by a 700 it was operator error the same guy whipped my ass on my own bike an me on he's hahahaha we haven't rematched but I think he knows I fixed what I was doing wrong
