Trail tech vapor

I was thinking about buying the trail tech vapor from amazon for 130$ , does it really worth the money ?

It's good for reading temp and mph if you calibrate it with a GPS. The rpm reading isn't accurate though.

I am new to the atv world so what do you mean by calibrate it with a GPS?

Trail techs instructions tell you to measure the diameter of the tire and enter it in to set up the speedo but it's not accurate. Get a handheld GPS or use a GPS app on a smartphone to verify and tweak the setting until its correct.

it is very complicated to calibrate it with a GPS , Thanks anyway

Just hold a cell phone in your hand with a free downloaded GPS speedo app and look at it while doing, say 50mph and see if the vapor reads 50. If not, stop and adjust it. Pretty simple.

Oh now I get it , thank you so much . Do you have any video of the full installation of the vapor please ?

I don't but its simple to install. I used one of my old brake dust shields to install the wheel speed sensor. That was the most difficult part of the installation.

Just gonna put it out there, I love mine, mainly for the engine temp and warning lights. The rpms are somewhat unreliable though.
