Is there anybody running Fox Podium X on the rear? Specifically the piggy back resi style. It says "removal of the airbox is required" but how much does it interfere by? I want to keep running the stock airbox for the type of riding I do but I'm wondering if I could get away with modding the box. Either that or I'd need to run the remote resi style but I prefer the piggy back. Pics would be great if anyone has some, of both setups.

Cheers.

Is there a reason you prefer the piggy back style?  From what I have researched the remote ressy are supposed o be better anyway.  It keeps the oil cooler , allowing less fade.  dont quote me on that tho.  IMO remote ressy is the way to go.  looks badass

I just think it looks a little neater not hanging off the frame, just personal preference really. I don't think there would be a noticeable difference in performance unless you were racing long distances. Nice setup though dude. Did you notice much difference with the Elka linkage as a worthwhile upgrade? What swinger is that?

My rear shock is amazing,  couldnt ask for a better set up.  I got a very good deal on it tho , think it was 700 or 800 with the linkage, and it was pretty much new.  new the shock is like 1,300 linkage is 700.  I got lucky :headbang:

Plus IMO that elka linkage is sexy as fuck :yank:

The swingarm is a MX JL -1.5 roundhouse.  Sick swing arm, JL makes some quality stuff,  awesome price too.
