421alkybanshee Posted February 3, 2013 Report Share Posted February 3, 2013 I hear yamahas like their oil meaning if you mix them richer, they run alot better, has anyone ever mixed it real rich? If your jetting isn't setup for a rich mixture, like let's say your carbs are setup to run at 32:1 and you mix your fuel with more oil which you would think is "richer" is incorrect. Typically you know what premix you like to run and then you tune your carbs on that mixture. Unless you are making drastic changes, I don't think you will have an issue.
