the "fiberglass style" is all the same i think.

 

there are a few "options" out there.  one looks like shreded t-shirts  its REALLY quiet..

 

also  my favorite is coarse steel wool.  most times the 4.00 sack will do 2 silencers.  and it holds up way better....

I used some r-19 packing, it was burned up after one weekend of riding. Going to try the steel wool next time

I use the stainless commercial pot scrubbers. Last long too.

I have been informed that the pot scrubbers may not be the best way to go. It might be better if you did your own research on silencer packing materials.

 

Maybe Passion or SRP could post some input???

 

I will say that I've ran these scrubbers for a long while without any problems,but the info i recieved seems to indicate thaty might not be the best way to go...

 

 It would be nice if someone with more pipe knowledge would chime in.
