apeik
So i was out last weekend and noticed when i rev up my bike while sitting still, as the rpm's fall back down at a certain point i would hear a weird vibration noise from inside the clutch cover. It didnt appear to hurt anything but got home and pulled it apart and was looking for opinions. The cusions are shot, correct? Also could the cusions being shot cause any kind of noise like i heard. It was just an isolated vibration type noise as it went down past a certain rpm. Everything besides the clutch basket/gear play seems to be solid and tight. Thanks in advance. Added a video of clutch basket/gear play. http://s66.beta.photobucket.com/user/Velir/media/VIDEO0009_zps15b5c635.mp4.html

Dicklez
What is your setup? Billet basket maybe overkill when you can rebuild your stock basket. Pm me with any questions
Finch
overkill? when a stock shee can groove a basket i dont see how a billet is overkill. if your dumping money into a basket might as well get one you know will last

trickedcarbine
While you are in there do everything you can. -Billit basket -Cushions -Pancake Bearing -New hub washer and but -Shift star, buy one or mod yours -Shift Shaft mod, or get it from Jeff -Shift Pro -Adjust the Eccentric screw Then you can just be done with it. I'm done with the days of constantly going in and out of my clutch. Till the new drag build at least.
apeik
ya got a billet basket and cusions on the way, turns out my shift shaft is worn where the spring is on the end, between that and a loose eccentric screw that's worn terrible my shit barely shifted under power so im gonna order the whole new shift shaft today, and probably the bushing for the kick idler. How much play is acceptable on the idler, cause it's always been wobbley even when the motor had low hours. Just wanna get rid of whatever vibration noise was in there. The shift parts were so worn that i couldnt even get the claws to center up(and the eccentric bolt was loose and cause it to get worn bad)..guessing that's size 13 boots beating on stuff. thanks guy's.
