BeeCanBanshee Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Hey guys so I'm having my cases powdercoated while its out for a rebuild and I can't get the damn motor mount bushings out. Also I don't have the dog bone looking mounts like I have seen online and was curious to what I have going on and any tips on removing the bushings is much appreciated. Also does anyone sell a mount kit that I can use to go back with just like it was with out the dog bones. Thanks Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 The engine mounts do come out, sometimes they just need some persuasion. Dont get too crazy or you risk breaking your cases though. You can buy all of the mounts and parts from most online parts vendors. Cascadeinnovations.net carriers OEM parts & have the dog-bone pieces you are looking for, as well as the hardware to mount them up. Jared Quote

sleeper06 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 They are needed keep them and you can press the bushings out ,I usually leave them and powder coat all the time,no need to pull them unless they get damage when disassembling bike Quote
