vapor tach is useless on a shee (never tried it on anything else it could be worthless all the way around)  The electrical system is simply too noisy on a shee, i tried everything could never get a consistent or accurate reading with the vapor

let me know if that works booxzzy, ive had mine working great for a few years, but the tach does kinda jump around so i dont pay it much attention.

You can calibrate the speedo with a hand held tach and get semi accurate speed. Like phibert said though, the electrical system is too noisy for a accurate rpm reading no matter where you put the wire. Maybe if the tach wire was shielded...

So do I but according to the vapor I hit 11k with pro circuits on my old setup.

We've had Pro Circuits on a built 4 mill dyno at a peak RPM of 11,400.

Don't get me wrong...it was in over rev and not making much for power at that RPM. LOL

But they CAN rev that high.

12,000 on FMF's though.....No.

I could not get the tach to work correctly on the Vapor I had on my Banshee. I even took the whole bike to Trail Tech and had them work on it. I finally decided the tach was too hard to read/not needed on my bike and Trail Tech gave me a Vector to try( I got to keep the Vapor also). It works perfect and my speedo has been verifeid with a GPS.
