YFZ350kid Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 a friend of mine who used to do jr. Dragster and is now a pro level drag racer told me about using a jet extension and holley jets as a cheep alternative to using mikuni 4/042 type jets. has anyone done this successfully? also what size range should i look for to equal around a 230-350 mikuni size? Thanks Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 Sounds great. Because saving a few bucks on jets is worth the risk of ruining a motor. Quote
YFZ350kid Posted December 4, 2012 Author Report Posted December 4, 2012 No so much looking to save a bunch on jets, just wondered if it works because I have access to a lot of Holley jets for free... It's no biggie to buy the one I need. Just looking to find out some info. Quote
dirtydownunder Posted December 4, 2012 Report Posted December 4, 2012 just use the correct jets, then youll be able to jet your bike easier. Quote

camatv Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 if your pro friend knows they fit then he should know what to use? maybe even know what the numbers are for the interchange.. i HIGHLY doubt your going to find anyone that knows what the same size holly jet is that the minkuni is... plus jets are really really cheap i feel. i mean 2-4 bucks??
