I would start by talking to who ever built the motor, should give you a ball park idea, then find a shop that does dyno work with A/F readings. Thats a big expensive motor to start learning on.

Whats your location and altitude? More info on the motor would help, carb size, bore size, pipes alky or gas, type of carbs.

I'm a newbe.. I've always been a yfz guy and I'm aware of how to tune them, I just use a dyno on them but I always see the 2 stroke guys tweaking on their shit so I figure there a bit more sensitive to weather and elevation.

Honestly all the advice in the world isnt gonna mean shit if you dont know what your doing. I never tuned an alky bike. Not like im the greatest with gas but i would turn your power jets out all the way and start from there. Go a turn or two at a time and see if it gets better or worse. I quick way to see if your lean is if the throttle runs away when your slowly giving it gas. Through the rpm range. To adjust the rods, you have to turn them in or out equally on both carbs. Have fun!!!
