This is a 4mil crank that I got wen I opened up a motor today, bearings are tight, no play in rods, just some bluing on the crank rod by needle bearings from coolant leak on that side. Wud u run it or have it rebuilt??

I wouldn't recommend running it. Heat discoloration on a rod points to extreme heat from friction. That bearing and/or rod will fail, most likely sooner than later.

I'd rebild the whole thing with new rings n bearings... I'd recommend to refresh with new pistons for longer life.. longer ride, worryfree.

I wouldn't run it. Blue like that means it got pretty damn hot. Send it off to Kevin @ HJR and he can rebuild it for you with some new rods. Give him a call, he has really fast turnaround time!
