Yesterday I noticed my Shee wasnt shifting right. The lever just had wayyy too much play in it. So I ripped the clutch cover and all that off and found this. the orange circle highlights my issue. How the hell do I get that little guy out with out breaking the motor down even more?

Looks like the eccentric screw. Just fold the locking tab back, back the jam nut off a little bit and unscrew it with a flat head.

Oh now I see, I'm on my phone. How the fuck did that happen?? You can just unscrew it with vise grips, or cut a notch and use a screw driver.

the section of the screw that allowed for a flat head to be used was sheared off, and i tried using vice grips to lock on and turn it and it didnt do anything. last thing i can do is drill it out and get an extractor set. shit.

Cut a notch with a cut off wheel, dremel, steak knife, whatever. Use a screwdriver. Of that don't work I'd go with an impact driver. I personally hate extractors.

you better pull the motor all the way out and clean it completely. i'm sure there are lil pieces of metal crap in the trans no matter how much you" flush it" better just yank it now.

you might get lucky and get it all out but to me i'd just split it.

that bolt and a lefty drill bit you MIGHT get it out sometimes those get locktighted in and take a lil massagin. if its really in there heat it up some and let the locktight work its way out. you can also clean off the top and just screw it in and out the other side if the case is split.

Good lord.... Weld a nut to the rod and use a socket and remove it. Flush the trans with a few cycles of diesel, fill with fluid and run it... IMO this isnt something worth a total tear down...

What in the fuck is going on back where your kicker gear assembly goes in? It looks to me like its time for some new cases and a complete tear-down and check-over. It looks like that engine has seen some abuse and not much maintenance.
