wesleyak47 Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 I have a banshee i started working on and want it to be able to race if someone calls me out. What can i do that is not exspensive. The setup that is on it are toomey t5s stock carbs stage 3 jet kit carbon fiber reeds with spacers stock cylinders wiseco pistons hot rods crank stock sprokets and dynatek cdi. Quote
Jereme6655 Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 The banshee and the phrase "not expensive" don't really go together. You could try to bump your compression up with a cool head....and try a timing plate to advance your timing to +4. Then after that it's going to get expensive pretty damn quick. Quote

With being a new banshee owner I figured that one out quick lol. I've already dropped sum money in it but I personally think its a Lil fast in the woods and I want to just play around on the streets. old put-put Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 I'm looking to spend about 5 on the port and another grand on getting it lowered and painted you talkin $5 or $5000, the latter will get you quite a bit the, previus will get you a feel good sticker Quote
wesleyak47 Posted September 22, 2012 Author Report Posted September 22, 2012 $500 for porting is high, but with $500 you can get a port job and a cut head. and a $1000 to lower and paint it? really, are you a fucking ricer? if you ride woods, you will not like it lowered at all, it will give an even shittier ride. then the paint will just get fucked up from trees and shit. use that grand to buy some +2+1 a-arms and some front shocks and have your rear reworked. I only ride it on the street Quote
sheerider11 Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 I only ride it on the street Fuck painting and lowering it. Go fast. 1500 will get you a badass stock cylinder motor Quote
