Hi i have 01 Banshee

with this mods

Bored 1 size over

FMF Fatty

K&N with no lid pro flow adapter

Stock carbs with no tors (sinked) and with idle screws

elevation 400ft

stock pilot jets

Mains are 280

1 1/2 turns on mixture screw

Starts Right up,

but idles oK only on choke

If i screw in the idle screws it starts reving

When I hit on throttle it stumbles first and then revs.

MIDDLE Rev is fine but seems stil not powerfull enough

Once in three time about After letting go off throttle it doesn't drop the RPMS right away

Help please I think I need to down jet it.

I have the same mods (except for the overbore) on my 06 & at 480ft in MN i ran 240 mains & stock everything else on the stock carbs w/o tors & it was perfect. as it happens i had similar idle & rpm 'stick' problems too, it turned out my needles were bent at the tips... replaced em & it was 100%. maybe go 250 or 260 on the mains for overbore? hope that helps.

The pilot jet handles from 0- 1/8th throttle

The needle handles from 1/8-3/4

And the main jet handles from 3/4 on......

That being said FMF pipes really like 27.5 pilots. the main being around a 280ish seems decent.....maybe 290 if you have pod filters.

The reason it is not coming down smoothly and quickly to idle is because it is starving for fuel........remember......2 strokes will free rev or rev hang when they are run lean on fuel.

You can order jets online or from our site sponsors.........watch out though....while I've found mikuni main jets at snowmobile stores that will work in the stock carbs.......the pilots are banshee specific.....
