94BANSHEE Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Hi guys. Looking for pipe input. I have T5's and will have the following installed Cool head with 21cc domes stock jugs ported .40 over with fresh pistons (Wiseco prolites Id imagine) Port job by a vendor on here 4 mil crankshaft stock carbs, VF3 cages/reeds 15/41 gearing My T5's are still in great shape. Would I need to bother going another route since my engine isnt a huge horsepower beast (But a ton better than stock) If I wouldnt gain much from switching pipes then Ill just use the T5's Any opinions? Appreciated!! Quote

BuckeyeShee21 Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 I have a very similar set-up on my trail bike.... HJR dune port, .20 over, VF3, stock carbs, no airbox lid, pro design head with 20 cc domes, +4 timing, 145 compression. I actually switched from cpi's to T5's. We do a lot of technical trail riding and rocky hills. Best move I made. I love them, and I made money in the switch Quote
RagunCajun Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 I sold my t5's for CPI's. But i too top end riding mostly. Depends where yo want the power and how it hits. Quote
