Oregon dunes worth a shit?

Milican valley OHV park in Bend Or. is about 30 sq miles usually open year round. McCubins Gulch up Mt Hood is in the mountains. Sandlake is 2 hours from portland, small and flat but has some nice tree shots.

What about Mt biking? U guys do any of that? I just got into it so I'm not real good but id like to keep it up. Anyplace close to do any of that?

We have some kick ass MTB trails. McKenzie River trail is world known and its 27 miles long. Its well worth the drive to come ride it.

World known is prob way over my head. Haha. But I'm game. How close to portland is this stuff? Sounds like prob everything there is atleast an hour away? Perk of livin in the big city I guess. So which side of town you guys think would be better to be closer to the goodstuff? I was thinkin maybe sw would b a good direction? But not really sure.

The trail is pretty good. Just dont fall. its probably 2.5 hrs from Portland. As for a place to live. I couldn't tell ya. The only time I head up that ways is to weld on bridges. If it was me I would look around south of Portland.

Funny you say that.. just got back from Mt Biking today... lots of trails about 1 hr from portland up at mt hood.

U guys hard core bikers? I've just got a bottom of the barrel diamondback 29r. Just picked up some hydro brakes for it. Still has a shit fork on it. I'm not in so great of shape. I take alot breaks. Did take a ride yesterday morning and actually rode the whole way this time. No pushing. Pretty proud of myself. Haha
