Clutch side coolant tube bent?

I was wondering why the hell my clutch cover didn't wanna come off come to find out this coolant tube looks bent. I was wondering if you can pull this tube right out and if there's an o ring or something there, or if I have to split the cases? I could also try to just carefully bend it straight, it trashed the old o ring that was there also. Thanks.

I would just bend it straight, but if you want to take it out just remove the o-ring and the small cir-clip and it will slide right out.

Really, it didnt looked like it would slide out at all, i guess ill have to check it out more, i couldnt find it in a parts diagram.

They are supposed to have a slight bend in them. You pull off the O ring and the wire clip and it slides out the back. It should show up in the parts book in either the crankcase or cooling sections.

X2 .....they are bent and meant to be bent.....I guarantee if you try and straighten that piece you will be buying a new one because the sidewall will split open.

looks ok to me. I put liquid teflon on the oring and tube, helps prevent corrosion and cover goes on and comes off much easier.

looks to me its fine, once you seat it back to the retainer clip it will be straight. just looks like it pulled inward when you pulled the clutch cover off. Push it back towards the carbs against the clip and see if it looks right.

yup last time i put my clutch cover on i thought mine was messed up too, but a couple little taps with a rubber mallet and it slide right in

Your cover was difficult to remove because someone put a giant fucking o-ring on there. LOL Get the yamaha O-ring thats supposed to go on the tube, push the tube back towards the center of your case until it bottoms out on the little snap-ring, and your cover will go on / come off a lot easier!

Yea i figured it out, and thats not the old o ring, the old one was split and all screwed up i just test fit that one i had laying around instead of having to get one at a stealership or something.
